Ok. So your installation media contained conflicting versions. That was 
a bug which has been fixed with cherokee-0.10.0-2.fc10.i386:

* Thu Nov 06 2008 Tom "spot" Callaway <tcallawa at redhat.com> - 0.10.0-2
- do not package spawn-fcgi files (lighttpd-fastcgi provides them)
  Resolves bz 469947

That points at the bug which claims that it will be fixed for F10:
