Laptop support in F10

Mine was a clean install of snapshot 3, updated to final.  Both / and /home 
were formatted.

I don't actually have a need for suspend, etc., so I'm not certain what I 
should see.  However, for a test I just closed the lid on this laptop.  The 
backlight went out just before the close completed, and came on again as I 
lifted the lid.  My applications were as I left them.  Should I look for more 
than that?

Tell me what tests you need and I'll do them.
