Dear all,

Running Fedora 10 Beta/Rawhide

[olivares at riohigh MPlayer-1.0rc2]$ cat /etc/fedora-release
Fedora release 9.92 (Rawhide)
[olivares at riohigh MPlayer-1.0rc2]$ uname -a
Linux riohigh 2.6.27-0.382.rc8.git4.fc10.i686 #1 SMP Thu Oct 2 21:36:18 EDT 2008 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux

First thing I like to do is compile mplayer from source and install it to play the files that do not play regularly by default. But

Mplayer fails to compile, bails out with

vo_ivtv.c: In function 'ivtv_reset':
vo_ivtv.c:79: error: storage size of 'sd' isn't known
vo_ivtv.c:80: error: storage size of 'sd1' isn't known
vo_ivtv.c:84: error: 'IVTV_STOP_FL_HIDE_FRAME' undeclared (first use in this function)
vo_ivtv.c:84: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
vo_ivtv.c:84: error: for each function it appears in.)
vo_ivtv.c:87: error: 'IVTV_IOC_STOP_DECODE' undeclared (first use in this function)
vo_ivtv.c:97: error: 'IVTV_IOC_START_DECODE' undeclared (first use in this function)
vo_ivtv.c:80: warning: unused variable 'sd1'
vo_ivtv.c:79: warning: unused variable 'sd'
make[1]: *** [vo_ivtv.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/olivares/Download/MPlayer-1.0rc2/libvo'
make: *** [libvo/libvo.a] Error 2

Thanks for advice provided.

This is a new install, the other rawhide machines were compiled against gcc-4.3.0 or gcc-4.3.1? I don't remember exactly.

Regards,

Antonio
