firefox is regularly dying

  yup, that makes a *huge* difference.  with the noscript addon but
flashplayer installed, firefox without playing flash is sitting at
about 15% CPU (which it's *never* done before now).  playing flash
pops it up to about 85%, but it drops again as soon as i stop flash.

  at this point, given that i'm not an FF expert, how does one
determine where FF is spending its time?  i'd certainly like to visit
a number of sites and see a histogram of what's costing me all that
processing time.
