The only thing I would caution you on with these steps is that I WOULD
NOT remove the i386 version of nspluginwrapper. Keep both the 32-bit and
64-bit versions installed. You'll need the 32-bit version, for example,
if you also plan to use Adobe Reader.

Other than this one factor, the above should work just fine.
