Not having the correct patch for an ever moving target that is the

You can either suggest he use an open source driver (already suggested
numerous times) or help the OP with his current problem. I don't see the
need to continue replying "ATI NVIDIA SUCK ASS" when a binary driver
issue comes up unless you like being a zealot.

As for helping his current problem you can simply say "call AMD" or
"call nVidia" for support or list one of the Internet forums that are
visted/moderated by AMD/nVidia developers.
