No waiting to press ENTER on f12 alpha install

  sure, that's reasonable, but i like to use the mailing list as a
sanity check to verify that something i found is indeed a bug and just
not something i misunderstood.  in addition, if i ask about something
that seems curious, it's possible that someone will mention that it's
already been bugzilla'ed.

  so should i assume that the *very* brief appearance of

  "Press the <ENTER> key to begin the installation process."

without waiting for user input before continuing corresponds to an
actual bug?  if so, i'll BZ it later.
