yum error in f11 alpha

I am able to ping mirrors.fedoraproject.org but yum doesn't work.
Even if I changed mirrors.fedoraproject.org to the IP address that
shows up when I ping mirrors, I get the same error with yum.  Any
ideas how to work around this problem?
