I had not noticed, but I have gotten kernels changed to i586 when before I was running i686 :
[olivares at localhost ~]$ rpm -qa kernel-*
kernel-devel-2.6.29-0.73.rc3.git2.fc11.i686
kernel-devel-2.6.29-0.74.rc3.git3.fc11.i686
kernel-devel-2.6.29-0.85.rc3.git7.fc11.i686
kernel-headers-2.6.29-0.119.rc5.fc11.i386
kernel-firmware-2.6.29-0.119.rc5.fc11.noarch
kernel-devel-2.6.29-0.78.rc3.git5.fc11.i686
[olivares at localhost ~]$ rpm -qa kernel
kernel-2.6.29-0.119.rc5.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.99.rc4.git1.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.110.rc4.git3.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.112.rc4.git3.fc11.i586
But this was a refresher :)

Antonio
