Tnx Tom

It is what I did last night...I had only a desktop with Computer,
Trah-bin and Home icons, fortunately I could create some launchers to
start Firefox, Thunderbird, gnome-terminal and so on and revert back
not stopping the machine to start in text mode
I wonder if this bug(s) affect(s) only me and you, or are we the only
two boys that installed updates :-)
