"Notification from KPackageKit" repeated popups 'The system up date has completed a restart is required' as updates system

I am using KPackageKit to update F11
"Notification from KPackageKit" keeps  saying "The system up date has 
completed a restart is required " it spawns a different pop up window 
for eachh updated package.... I have a large number as I am doing 511  
updates.

This should only occur once at end of Update process.....
