Fedora 11, thinkpad T40, x86

I'm bothered by numerous problems with the vlc
player (I have installed the testing version 1.0.0-1)
At first, I got thousands of log entries (which then
are suppressed) from pulseaudio[2262] ratelimit.c
At my opinion, the only way to handle out-or-range
data in an audio system is simple skipping to max/min.
Even calling a subroutine which then does nothing
after lookup of configuration would be terrible.
I have set
log-level = error
in /etc/pulse/daemon.conf That suppresses the messages,
but does not solve the audio problems. Now I got messages

That seems to be an error in the intel audio driver. On my
phenom II, there are no problems with vlc.
