It is true that one will get that way much more that can be naively
expected. OTOH when I did that on some occasions THE WORLD still
turned out to be smaller than "THE WORLD plus the rest". That may
help although only "may". I am pretty sure that Jerry would get out
of that much less than he thinks he would.

You may even end up worse if some necessary piece was "forgotten"
(that did happen to me in the past when I had to do some
"unconventional upgrades") but it is not likely in the situation
under discussion.
