gnome keyring asks for password @startup

To follow up on this, I found the following page:

But I am not sure as to how to proceed.  I am afraid to lose everything, since the network at work is encrypted.  The Network Administrator put in the key, and the gnome-keyring appears at startup asking me to "unlock it", how can I make sure that it(gnome-keyring) is not locked at startup? to avoid entering the password every time the machine starts?
