Orphaned packages

The term "orphaned" is ambiguous. In this case, what is meant is that the
installed version is no longer in the repository. This can happen if the
package is discontinued, but in this case the problem is simply that for
some reason the version went backwards. File a bug complaining about the
broken upgrade path.
