Thank you both Adam and Johann,

I booted to an older kernel and I can get X :)

[olivares at localhost ~]$ uname -r
2.6.29-0.159.rc6.git3.fc11.i586
[olivares at localhost ~]$ rpm -qa kernel
kernel-2.6.29-0.159.rc6.git3.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.176.rc6.git5.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.179.rc6.git5.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.157.rc6.git2.fc11.i586
[olivares at localhost ~]$ rpm -qa kernel
kernel-2.6.29-0.159.rc6.git3.fc11.i586
kernel-2.6.29-0.157.rc6.git2.fc11.i586
[olivares at localhost ~]$

I removed the two kernels 176 and 179, and wait for another kernel :)

[olivares at localhost ~]$ su -
Password:
[root at localhost ~]# rpm -e kernel-2.6.29-0.176.rc6.git5.fc11.i586
[root at localhost ~]# rpm -e kernel-2.6.29-0.179.rc6.git5.fc11.i586

I saw the trace/ message with both above kernels wrt to the network issue:

ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): eth0: link becomes ready
