gnome locking up after user login since the mass rebuild

Backdating mesa didn't help either.

I was already using mdadm 3 before I tried update after the mass rebuild.

Any other ideas on package updates that might cause this kind of problem?
Unfortunately with the mass rebuild, I don't have a restricted list of
packages to look at.
