This should be done with ConsoleKit and HAL... MODE="0666" will make it writable 
by _every_ user on your computer, while it should only be writable by the actual 
console user, plugging it in.

Have a look at /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/* and watch out for "<merge 
key="access_control....."
