i'm currently running -129 and i can tell you that it doesn't work
with the current radeon driver. to get a desktop, i have to boot with
"nomodeset" and use the "vesa" driver, which gives me only 1024x768
on my 1280x800 display. i've been down that road quite a lot lately,
as i've mentioned before:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=495208
if something's changed lately so that it's worth testing upgrading
and trying again, i'm willing to give it a shot, but it wouldn't be
worth it if none of the enhancements or bug fixes tried to address
this issue.
