I came a bit strong here, but I have realized that the instructions were meant for a wiki and ``not to be set in stone'' so I can put my arguments to rest and agree with Adam and Kevin on this. But also can come back and support David with his arguments as well. So I'll be quiet but I'll be ready in case someone comes back and tells me that I am wrong, because we all like to be right!

Hi Adam. I'll go for that. :-)

Fedora is a great Linux distribution. And a lot of very hard work is
done by many people. Just because they want to do that. I get that.

But I get 'hot' when 'zealots / purest types' attack someone that uses
Linux with 'other stuff' with due cause.

Me?

The currently available Linux Nvdida drivers, nv and nouvou, can not
control my video card.

Some programs (Windows programs) that I need for my work have *no* Linux
clones. And since they are *real* propriety software programs there will
never be Linux clones. There are four of them that connect to over one
million dollars worth of machinery back in the shop. And several others
that I use for other purposes.

They will, none of them, you have got to be kidding, run in Wine.

I duel boot. One (Windows) to make my bucks to feed the kids. Two for
'the other stuff' because I want to do that.

I agree with the user that users Flash. And why. Because I use what does
the job.

Here I duck out.

Bye.
