Beta on Beta: VMware Workstation 7 RC on F12B?

At last! Amongst all of the anti-proprietary / anti-VMware vitriol, a
real suggestion that is both reasonable and realistic. Thank you...!

No - I will NOT switch to VirtualBox. No, I disagree that it provides a
superior experience, and I base that on my own personal experience using
it regularly. It's a decent desktop virtualization tool, but it is _not_
better. Oh, and to those needing USB support, VirtualBox OSE from
RPMFusion.org isn't going to cut it for you. You will need the full
proprietary version and do a little magic in the setup for USB to work.

Similarly, for QEMU/KVM. The thread about it happening right now is
evidence enough of the "experiences" I have had with it as well. This is
a product that I am cheering for in the background, but it not soup yet.

I do virtual environments for a living day in and day out, using several
platforms (VMware, VirtualBox, KVM, ...). There's a professional reason
I need to get Workstation running on F12. Now I have it started.

There's a reason why VMware also has 89% of the Intel virtualization
market and growing (according to Gartner). They really are that far
ahead, and unlike some proprietary companies, they haven't cheated to
get that market share...
