youtube weirdness

Perhaps the most annoying problem with F12 at this point is a
weird problem with some embedded YouTube videos. Presumably
this isn't Fedora's fault, but it makes F12 less enjoyable
for me.

I follow http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com which usually has
some interesting YouTube links - which work in F11 but not F12.
The problem is the particular format of the links.
This link "works":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUCfSiMB_2E
However, the pause button doesn't work, and I can't
slide the time-line.
OTOH think link doesn't work:
http://www.youtube.com/v/RUCfSiMB_2E
Clicking on the start button does nothing.

I though there might be a problem with Flash's
Input Event handling. However the Flash "home page"
http://www.adobe.com/flashplatform/ works fine - I can
start and stop the animation and click on various links.
