Microsoft translate it as لقطة for example they translate:
Generic volume snapshot: لقطة عامة لوحدات التخزين

Also, in Almawrid Dictionary it's لقطة

Suppose I ask you to translate this:
A snapshot creates an image?
Which translation are you going to choose? ;)
