Q: Translation Upstream

Hello!
           I want to ask that do we submit the translations to the upstream
project? Means If we have translated Gnome 100% in language A then do the
Gnome team take care of it so in case other distributions can get benefit
from it instead of translating it to the same language from scratch and
wasting it's energy on something what is already done.
