Self-introduction to the list of your local team should work, and this 
step has been included in Translation Quick Start Guide :-)
As you said, it is always good to know each other as a part of team. It 
is also encouraged to join #fedora-l10n channel in Freenode for seeking 
quick answer or chatting.
Afaik, Leah is the one from Red Hat contributing to zh-CN.
