Branching - Fedora packages!

The way Fedora works, as an open project with 'packages' and builds,
it's quite hard (with our current toolchain) to standardize the use of
branches for all developers. And even if we do achieve this, like
Miroslav said, there's no guarantee that an update will be shipped to
current Fedora users.

I blame tools for everything. Or, to rephrase, there could be a tool
to help out here too. :-)
