Yes, these issues:
* PCM channel being inoperative
* low volume
* no ability to switch to 2ch mode
* there's no "Boost Mic signal" option (hence recording is rendered useless)
are still reproducible with latest F-7 updates:

$ rpm -q kernel alsa-lib
kernel-2.6.23.15-80.fc7.x86_64
alsa-lib-1.0.14-3.fc7.x86_64
