[root at layer8 ~]# /etc/init.d/postgresql start
Starting postgresql service:                               [  OK  ]
[root at layer8 ~]# /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
Stopping postgresql service:                               [  OK  ]
[root at layer8 ~]# /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
Stopping postgresql service:                               [FAILED]
[root at layer8 ~]#
[root at layer8 ~]# /etc/init.d/postgresql stop
Stopping postgresql service:                               [FAILED]

[root at layer8 ~]# rpm -qa | grep postgres
postgresql-server-8.2.7-1.fc7
