I have seen this again with RHEL 5.2, kernel:

Linux gator 2.6.18-92.1.10.el5 #1 SMP Tue Aug 5 07:41:53 EDT 2008 i686 i686
i386 GNU/Linux

The exact message was:

EDAC MC0: UE page 0x2b8, offset 0x0, grain 4096, row 0, labels ":": i82875p UE

It is not easily reproducible. Hardware is as described above, latest BIOS.
