Hi there, just got the same issue and got it solved by adding as in the "post
17", these lines into /etc/security/console.perms.d/50-default.perms:
"Make sure you put (0666 root) instead of (0600 root).
@the TOP :
<sound>=/dev/dsp* /dev/snd/*
@the bottom:
<console> 0666 <sound> 0666 root
It now works just as perfect.
