This bug is still present in F12 Beta.  I installed from the Live CD and set up
LDAP (both PAM and NSS parts).  The LDAP server in question is remote and
already set up.

After the reboot, it hangs (seemingly forever) on «starting message bus».

Booting up in single user mode, setting "bind_policy soft", and rebooting again
does seem to fix the problem - at least it boots up correctly and allows me to
log in using a user only found in the LDAP directory.
