Figured it out; the page doesn't specify an encoding, Ricky's server 
sets to utf 8, FPO wasn't sending one (and neither was my cvs co) so it 
defaulted to ISO-2022-JP. Somehow the different encoding made the text 
blow up and changed the font in use.
