Automatic adding of Search feature in FF

Hi,

I am wondering how to add an automated search engine to FF?

We have a knowledge base that is running on Joomla and the search
feature implemented in the Fedora Wiki looks good (i.e. adding to the
search bar on FF).

Please advise.
