Great!  Thanks for confirming these fixes.  That leaves the syncrepl
related(?) crash that Petr encountered, and the GSSAPI replication
issues that Honza encountered:

Is it possible to simply disable syncrepl to avoid the crash until we
can pin down the cause/fix?  It seems like this should be a viable
approach since we were discussing using 389-ds-base-1.3.1, which doesn't
even have syncrepl support.  Has it been confirmed that the crash does
not occur if syncrepl is not used?

Rich has been unable to reproduce the GSSAPI replication issues.  It
would be great if we can get access to an environment where the problem
occurs.
