Mostly just academic interest: is it possible to use OpenLDAP instead of FedoraDS with FreeIPA? If so, are there any changes/limitations with IPA in that case? Or if not, are there any plans to make IPA independent of LDAP server implementation? Would it require a major surgery or just some tweaking to do that?
