SSSD on RHEL 5 does not support SUDO natively, look at https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/5/html/Configuring_Identity_Management/configuring-rhel5.html

SSSD on RHEL 5 does not support HBAC rules when configured against compat tree.
