Well, you got me there. I just figured that RPM also had boolean dependency resolution, but I can see that it first appeared in RPM 4.13 (RHEL 7 running 4.11). That makes things a bit harder.

Anyway, crony support would defenently be a good thing, or at least not require ntp.
