[Freeipa-users] "Purge" scripts?

I think it is a misunderstanding. Removing the packages doesn't undo the
configuration. I think he needs to reinstall the packages and run
ipa-server-install --uninstall (though the ipa-upgrade post-install
command may blow up on reinstall).
