Greetings Red Hat Worldwide Partners,

Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of the Red Hat Hardware
Certification Test Suite GA (v7-1.0-15) for certification testing with
Red Hat Enterprise Linux versions 4 and 5. v7 is available from the Red
Hat Network and the partners ftp site located at:

ftp://partners.redhat.com/a166eabc5cf5df158922f9b06e5e7b21/hwcert/

NOTE: The v7 GA (1.0-15) package is considered an official release and
should be used for official certification testing submissions. The
previous test suite (hts-5.3-17) may continued to be used for official
certifications of both Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.x and 5.x until it
expires in 90 days in accordance with the certification policies.

NOTE: The v7 test suite is a name change from the previous hts project.

NOTE: The v7 test suite includes a new bluray read and write test.

NOTE: The v7 test suite includes fv_* tests to automate and replace the
previous manual installation, configuration and testing of fully
virtualized guests.

NOTE: Manual testing inside a guest using the test suite continues to be
supported and accepted as satisfying the fv testing requirements.

Please read the details below; if you encounter any problems please file
