[Hwcert-announce-list] Updated Red Hat Hardware Catalog now Available

Greetings Red Hat Worldwide Partners,

Red Hat is pleased to announce the availability of a Red Hat Hardware 
Catalog update.  This update concentrates on improving the handling of 
vendor names in the Hardware Catalog.  It includes changes designed to 
improve the common user's experience locating vendor hardware in the 
catalog and reducing errors during the submissions and review processes.


Highlights of the Hardware Catalog Update include:

* Support for vendor name friendly URLs; for example:

   https://hardware.redhat.com/Dell

* Support for vendor name aliases in the friendly URLs; for example the 
following two links will provide the same list:

   https://hardware.redhat.com/HP
   https://hardware.redhat.com/Hewlett Packard

* Support for Red Hat product plus vendor name two level friendly URLs;
for example:

   https://hardware.redhat.com/IBM/RHEL5
   https://hardware.redhat.com/RHEL5/IBM

* The vendor field is now a drop-down on the create and update pages. 
Only vendor names with publicly posted certifications will appear in the 
drop-down. "Unlisted Vendor" should be selected when the desired vendor 
name does not appear in the list.

* Other minor bug fixes/features outlined in the change log below.
