Greetings Red Hat Partners,

We are pleased to announce the availability of an updated Red Hat
Hardware Catalog at https://hardware.redhat.com.

This update to the Red Hat Hardware Catalog is an official release and
should be used for official Red Hat Hardware Certification test
submissions. Highlights of the Hardware Catalog include:

* Certifications now optionally support Product URL and Support URL
fields in addition to the required Specification URL. These new fields
are for links to general product information and vendor-hosted hardware
support information, respectively.

* Test plans are now arranged by SYSTEM, NETWORK & STORAGE, VIDEO, I/O
and OTHER feature groups followed by test name order. This will group
related tests together making them easier to locate. For example, CORE,
CPUSCALING and PROFILER are grouped under the SYSTEM heading.

* Leverage will now accept a leverage pool component cert ID in lieu of
a test ID.

* The "create new certification" page will now read the specification
URL from a results package and default to "Pre-Production" status.

* New MRG certification requests will automatically have a melted
testplan including hwlatdetect and rteval.

* The certification details link is easier to select in the list view as
the entire box is now clickable.

* Friendly URLs now support "mrg1" and "mrg2" keywords providing the Red
Hat Enterprise MRG Realtime 1.x and 2.x lists.

* Friendly URLs now support component type keywords; for example

  https://hardware.redhat.com/Components/tape

* Friendly URLs now support the "leveragepool" keyword; for example

  https://hardware.redhat.com/{vendor}/RHEL6/leveragepool

This will list the RHEL6 private component certifications that have been
marked with the leverage pool classification for the given vendor. You
will need to be logged in with permissions to the private certifications
to see the list.

* Other minor bug fixes/features outlined in the change log below.

If you encounter any problems or have any comments regarding the Red Hat
Hardware Catalog, please file bugs against the 'Red Hat Hardware
Certification Program' product in Red Hat Bugzilla
