[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite (hwcert-client-1.7.0.1-20140704) General Availability Package Available

Greetings Red Hat Partners,
We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of updated Red
Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite and supporting kernel information
packages, hwcert-client-1.7.0.1-20140704 and
hwcert-client-info-1.7.0.1-20140704, for certification purposes with the
GA release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.0.
This Red Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite package update *is* an
official release and should be used for all new Red Hat Enterprise Linux
7 certification submissions. The previous test suite and kernel info
packages (hwcert-client-1.7.0-20140611 and
hwcert-client-info-1.7.0-20140611) should continue to be utilized for
any remaining testing on the RHEL 7 RC. Passing results from the
previous test suite will continue to be accepted for a period of 90 days.
The updated Red Hat Hardware Certification Test Suite packages are
available at the following location:

Highlights of the hwcert-client-1.7.0.1-20140704 package include:
* The storage test may now be planned on a software FCoE lun device.
The hwcert-client-1.7.0.1-20140704 and
hwcert-client-info-1.7.0.1-20140704 packages have been tested against
RHEL 7.0 on the x86_64, ppc64, and s390x architectures. If you encounter
any problems, please file bugs against the 'Red Hat Hardware
Certification Program' product in Red Hat Bugzilla
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com).
