[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Certification - Updated Hardware Test Suite Packages Available for RHEL 7

Greetings Red Hat Partners,
We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of the
following updated Red Hat Certification Hardware Test Suite packages:
redhat-certification-hardware-1.7.1-20150901.el7
redhat-certification-information-1.7.1-20150901.el7
These updated Red Hat Certification Hardware Test Suite package *are* an
official release and can be be used for new Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x
hardware certification submissions.
Highlights of these updated packages include:
* Resolves a number of critical impact bugs and improves usability for
completing certification on RHEL 7
* Improves usability
An updated user guide preview for the new test suite is available at the
link below and will be available shortly on the Red Hat Customer Portal.
A separate announcement will be sent when it is published on the Portal.

In addition to the updated test suite packages, an update to the
full-virt guest configuration file for the pre-built guest images has
also been produced. If you store the guest image on your test server to
allow for faster testing, you should update your copy of the
hwcert-x86_64.xml.tar.bz2 file. The newest version can be found in our
FTP directory here:

The new Red Hat Certification Hardware Test Suite packages
(redhat-certification, redhat-certification-hardware, and
redhat-certification-information) are available only via the Red Hat
Customer Portal at the following location:
https://rhn.redhat.com/rhn/channels/PackageList.do?cid=24603
The linked resource indicates that the files are for 64-bit x86_64 RHEL
7, but the packages can be used for 64-bit IBM System z, 64-bit IBM
POWER, and 64-bit x86_64 architectures.
If you do not have a Red Hat Customer Portal account or are having
difficulty downloading the files, please contact your partner manager or
engineering account manager for assistance.
Changes made since the previous release:
1245347 - el7 version Video test updated to provide the display value
with command xdpyinfo
1248707 - Fixed audio test issue where multiple devices weren't tested
1248818 - Added package requirement for xfsprogs to storage test
1255486 - Improved error message for missing hdmi speaker device
1253658 - Changed to more reliable means for determining realtime is active
1249774 - Allow for manually adding a test to plan without requiring a
device
1253663 - Present HDMI or Internal with audio test information in cli
print and web ui
1253664 - Running a single audio test in web ui only runs that test for
that device
1252165 - Fix erroneous suspend test failure
1257958 - Wireless test traceback when checking supported types
1251709 - Kdump test modified to save one crash core file per run with UUID
