submissions. Successful results from the previous certification test
suite (redhat-certification-4.0-20161004) will be accepted for a
period of 90 days.

The 4.1 release marks the debut of aarch64 architecture certification
packages on Red Hat Customer Portal. The Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Server for ARM product that supports aarch64 hardware is still in
developer preview state, but the packages at the above link can be
used for early testing.

All Programs
   - Test results can now have four possible values:
        - PASS - the test passes
        - WARN - the test passes, but logs should be checked for
statements starting with “Warning:” where a best practice may not have
been followed
        - REVIEW - the test requires review by Red Hat (see log
messages marked “Needs Review:”)
        - FAIL - the test fails
   - The rhcert web UI now shows sub-test descriptions in test log views.
   - The “Progress” page in the rhcert web UI now gives a more
simplified view and directs users to re-run or submit test results.
   - The redhat-certification-backend package no longer requires the
redhat-certification-information package.
   - Certification packages in this release have the same version
(4.1). Going forward, each release of certification packages will
follow this practice.

Hardware Certification
   - Support for RHEL 7.3 certifications
   - Support for RHEL for Real Time 7.3 certification

Cloud Certification
   - New test suite (version 4.1) re-aligns testing based on customer values
   - New test suite subtests now provide PASS/WARN/REVIEW/FAIL status
upon subtest completion
   - Support for Cloud Certification on RHEL 7.3 added
   - The secret-sos, redhat-certification-commons, and
scap-security-guide package are not longer required by
redhat-certification-cloud

If you encounter any problems, please file bugs against the "Red Hat
Certification Program" product in Red Hat Bugzilla
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com). Note that this may be a change from
some users who are used to using the old "Red Hat Hardware
Certification Program" product.

We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software
development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued
partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not
hesitate to contact your Partner Manager or Engineering Account
Manager.

Regards,

The Red Hat Certification Team
