[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Certification 2.9 and Test Suite Updates Available

Greetings Red Hat Partners,

We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of updated Red Hat
Certification 2.9 and associated Test Suite package updates (listed
below).  This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an official release
and should be used for all new Red Hat certification submissions.
Successful results from the previous certification test suite
(redhat-certification-2.8-20160819) will be accepted for a period of 90
days.

The updated Red Hat Certification packages are available on the Red Hat
Customer Portal at the following location:

Highlights of the updated packages:

redhat-certification/redhat-certification-backend 2.9:
- Interactive testing now re-directs to the Testing page when the test run
is finished
- Test and sub-test results have four status values:
  PASS - The test passes
  WARN - The test passes, but potential issues were found
  REVIEW - The test results must be reviewed by Red Hat
  FAIL - The test fails

redhat-certification-hardware-1.7.9/1.6.9:
- Added bluetooth test to -preview package
- Now requires redhat-certification and/or redhat-certification-backend >=
2.9
- Changes to support the LTS self check update

redhat-certification-openstack-1.5.3:
- Now can test partner plugins with capabilities related to vpnaas as well
as fwaas in addition to usual neutron testing.

https://bugzilla.redhat.com). Note that this may be a change from some
users who are used to using the old ‘Red Hat Hardware Certification
Program’ product.
