[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Certification 6.1, Test Suite Updates, and Updated Certification Workflow Site Available

Greetings Red Hat Partners,

We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Red Hat
Certification 6.1 and its associated test suite package updates
(listed below). This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an
official release and should be used for all new Red Hat certification
submissions.  Successful results from the previous certification test
suite will be accepted for a period of 90 days.

The updated Red Hat Certification packages listed below are available
on the Red Hat Customer Portal at the following location:

This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows:

1. A new NVDIMM Storage test is now available for testing NVDIMMs with RHEL 7.
2. RDMA tests are now refactored into individual connection tests
replacing the previous InfiniBand Connection, RoCE Connect, iWarp
Connection, and Omnipath Connection tests.

The new tests are as follows:
a. Infiniband_QDR
b. Infiniband_FDR
c. Infiniband_EDR
d. 10GigRoCE
e. 20GigRoCE
f. 25GigRoCE
g. 40GigRoCE
h. 50GigRoCE
i. 100GigRoCE
j. 10GigiWarp
k. 20GigiWarp
l. 25GigiWarp
m. 40GigiWarp
n. 50GigiWarp
o. 100GigiWarp
p. Omnipath

The new test success criteria and execution are documented in the
Hardware Program Policy Guide and the Test Suite User Guide.

The previous RDMA connection tests will continue to be accepted for 90
days after the release of redhat-certification-6.1 as per the normal
test suite life-cycle policy.

3. The RDMA tests are also updated to include ib_write_bw, ib_read_bw,
and ib_send_bw subtests as an additional connection and throughput
validation.


The complete changelog for each package may be found on the download
page by selecting the package name followed by selecting the ChangeLog
tab.

Certification Program" product in Red Hat Bugzilla
(https://bugzilla.redhat.com). Note that this may be a change for some
users who are used to using the old "Red Hat Hardware Certification
Program" product.
