The Red Hat Certification management interface on Red Hat Partner
Connect, which is available at https://rhcert.connect.redhat.com, has
been updated to use these packages.

This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows:
1. The Unsupported Hardware subtest, which is part of the Info test in
the hardware test suite and part of the Supportability test in the
cloud and software test suites, has been renamed to Hardware Health.
In addition to the name change, Hardware Health now reports a warning
for each of the following situations:
   a. Offline CPUs are detected
   b. Known hardware vulnerabilities are reported by the kernel

2. Updates have been made to the Installed RPMs subtest, which is part
of the Supportable test in the cloud and software test suites:
   a. Modification time differences have been changed to a warning
instead of a failure.
   b. A group ownership bug in certain versions of the LSM package has
been accounted for.
   c. Configuration file changes in /var/lib/selinux are now allowed.

3. Planning of the thunderbolt3 test now occurs only when a
thunderbolt controller is identified in the "lspci" command or in
/sys/bus/wmi. This should correct the case where the thunderbolt3 test
would plan automatically on systems without Thunderbolt 3 hardware.

4. A bug in the fv_cpu_pinning test that prevented the installation of
the packages required for this test has been corrected.

5. A false positive bug for the UDP latency subtest in the Ethernet
test has been fixed.

6. Error reporting for the ethernet test has been improved.

7. A new In-place upgrades test has been introduced for use starting
in Red Hat OpenStack Platform 16.1 plug-in certifications. This test
is for partners to achieve an "In-place upgrades from 13 (Queens)"
feature in their RHOSP 16.1+ plug-in certifications. Achievement of
this feature will require partners to verify a fully-automated upgrade
of Red Hat OpenStack Platform through FFU from RHOSP-13 to RHOSP-16.1
with their plug-ins before running the test.

8. A bug in the fv_realtime test that would return a false negative
and cause the test to fail has been corrected.

We value your ongoing participation in Red Hat certification, software
development, and testing efforts. Thank you for your continued
partnership. If you have any questions or comments, please do not
hesitate to contact Ecosystem Partner Management.

Regards,
The Red Hat Certification Team
