[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Certification 7.12, Test Suite Updates, and Updated Certification Workflow Site Available

Greetings Red Hat Partners,

We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Red Hat
Certification 7.12 and its associated test suite package updates
(listed below). This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an
official release and should be used for all new Red Hat certification
submissions. Successful results from the previous certification test
suite will be accepted for a period of 90 days.

This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows:

1. The new CCSP cloud image certification for Red Hat Enterprise Linux
for SAP with HA and Update Services is introduced. The new tests for
this certification can be found in the redhat-certification-cloud-sap
package.

2. The iPXE test in the hardware certification test suite will no
longer be planned automatically. The test can be planned manually
using the rhcert-cli plan command.

3. Fixed a caching issue where product details would not update for
the CCSP cloud test suite. The vendor list now always tries the
backend instead of the local store. The issue was observed in
Management mode while updating the product specification.

4. The suspend test in the hardware test suite now changes the
/sys/power/mem_sleep between freeze and deep when testing S2Idle and
S3 accordingly. This fixes Red Hat Bugzilla bug 1820578 which was
raised for this issue.

5. The changelog information for the RHEL8 redhat-certification-* RPM
packages is now visible on the Customer Portal downloads page.  This
information was previously missing for RHEL 8.
