[Hwcert-announce-list] Red Hat Certification 7.23, Test Suite Updates, and Updated Certification Workflow Site Available

Greetings Red Hat Partners,

We are pleased to announce the general availability (GA) of Red Hat
Certification 7.23 and its associated test suite package updates (listed
below). This Red Hat Certification package update *is* an official release
and should be used for all new Red Hat certification submissions.
Successful results from the previous certification test suite will be
accepted for a period of 90 days. Please note that version 7.22 of the test
suite was not released to partners and because of that, version 7.21 will
be supported for longer than the usual time.

The Red Hat Certification management interface on Red Hat Partner Connect,
which is available at https://rhcert.connect.redhat.com, has been updated
to use these packages.

This release includes enhancements and bug fixes as follows:

   1.

   The Virtual Machine Live Migration (fv_live_migration) test now migrates
   the virtual machine back from the RHEL 8 lab agent system to the RHEL 8 SUT.
   2.

   The "Product Details" tab on the Product page is now implemented for ISV
   Software Certification in the RHcert WUI.
   3.

   The Network test in hardware certification is updated to use iperf3
   instead of lmbench in the UDP latency subtest. This improves reliability
   with the higher network speed tests.


NOTE:  This change requires port 5201 to be opened on the LTS. This will
need to be manually configured at this time.


   1.

   The uncore subtest in the hardware certification profiler test will
   return a WARN when any issue is detected. The uncore subtest will not block
   certifications at this time.
   2.

   A bug is fixed in the uncore test which caused a count mismatch error
   when any event returned a “not counted” status.
