You have a few options for how you want to install JBoss EAP, see the installation guide for details:
http ://docs.redhat.com/docs/en-US/JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform/5/ html -single/Installation_Guide/index. html #Installation_With_ZIP_Download

Generally speaking, the provided RPM follows RHEL specific packaging & installation guidelines, targeted at system administrators that are used to managing RHEL in a similar way.

Subject: [ Jboss - eap -beta-list] jboss install

Hi

New to jboss

Jboss eap rpms installs itself in /etc / usr /share.. and all over the place.

Is there any best practice approach that installs in a very specific /app folder as an example.

Your thoughts please
